Year 2015 is yin Wood Earth Sheep/Goat year

The Chinese New Year of the Year 2015 will be a year of the Wood Earth Goat/Sheep.

As seen on Chinese zodiac calendar, 2015 will begin on the 19th of February 2015 (thursday) and will end on the 8th of February in 2016 (monday).

2015 is the yĭ-wèi (乙未 year (Wooden Goat). Yĭ is the second of the ten celestial stems and wèi (Sheep) is the eighth of the twelve terrestrial branches.

The Goats and Sheep are the two major categories of the Sheep family.  The Goats,  a symbol of auspiciousness, appear sturdy and lively with funny beard.  The white-haired Sheep stand for peace and happiness. Generally speaking, people born in the Year of the Sheep are generous, just and kind, and easily touched by other people's misfortunes.  They are meek and somewhat timid, pessimistic by nature.

Chinese New Year in the Philippines

The Chinese New Year is not usually considered a public holiday in the Philippines, but in 2015 it was declared to be a national holiday. It is celebrated not just by the sizeable Chinese-Filipino community but by the entire nation. Establishments go all out with decorations and many participate in traditional Chinese New Year customs. Chinatown in Manila, considered to be the world’s oldest Chinatowns outside China attracts thousands of visitors every Chinese New Year. Niangao are popular gifts and can be purchased almost everywhere. Red envelopes are also given out with a person’s fortune.

2015 Yang Xian TAI SUI, Who is he?

Great General Yang Xian is the Tai Sui or Grand Duke of Sheep/Goat year 2015. He is the year God who gives trials to the afflicted Zodiac signs. Chinese believers and Feng Shui practitioners respect him highly, and are afraid to offend him because it would cause harm and bad luck to come to them.

Many people do not understand the implications that are entailed when a zodiac sign is deemed to be in conflict with Tai Sui. Fear and confusion are usually generated. In actuality, when a zodiac sign, according to Taoist philosophy, is supposed to clash with Tai Sui, Feng Shui has the ability and can be employed for a particular individual to reduce its inauspicious effects.Year 2015 is the year of the yin wood earth Goat/Sheep year. People who are born in the following animal signs are in conflict with Tai-Sui - Goat/Sheep, Ox/Cow, Rat  and Dog. To avoid offending the Tai Sui, people do "An Tai Sui Ritual" (Pacifying Tai Sui Ritual) on every 1st and 15th day of Chinese Lunar Calendar. It is believed that improvement of health, luck, wealth, prosperity, family safety and helpful mentors supports will be granted.

Personal remedies to counteract the bad luck are of the following:
  1. Carry always with you all throughout the year a YANG XIAN TAI SUI AMULET
2.  Wear either a Chi Lin (Dragon Horse) Bracelet or Pi Yao Bracelet. It should be combined with Wu Lo bead (to safeguard your health), Mantra beads (to enhance harmony) and Evil Eye bead (to fight against office politics or evil intentions against you).

3.   Display Flying Pi Yao and Treesome Wealth Goat  in the living room (sala) facing the door as if preventing the incoming of bad luck

4.   Perform the "An Tai Sui Ritual" every first (1st) and fifteenth (15th) days of every month (based on Chinese Lunar calendar).

5.   To call on "Helpful Friends" instead of "Mean People" by burning Gui Ren Kim.

EFFECTS  TO  AFFLICTED  SIGNS

Conflicting (clash) Tai Sui - It means the Zodiac Goat/Sheep is as if in "wrestling position" with the Tai Sui. Problems such as the death of a loved family member, accidents, injuries, death, hospitalization, money loss, bankruptcy, demotion and losing a job. There will also be possible changes in the love relationship, therefore one has to exercise caution.

Offending (conflict) Tai Sui - The seriousness of offending Tai Sui will feel weak for the whole year and suffers from bad temper which results in poor human relationship. Zodiac Ox/Cow will frequently fall sick, get wounded and suffer from love problems. Therefore one has to exercise regularly and eat nutritiously.

Torturing Tai Sui (causing hurt) - It spells no good harvest. There will a lot of contradictory problems afflicting to Zodiac Ox/Cow and Dog. Gossips, scandals and bad relationship with people are going to be a norm at work and even hard work will not pay off well at the end. Crisis after crisis will occur. Therefore this is going to be a non-fruitful year for those torturing the Tai Sui. The whole year will just go to waste. The best is to stay low profile.

Harming (Incompatible) Tai Sui - When the Tai Sui is harmed, Zodiac Rat will not do well simply because they cannot connect well with the rest of the eleven other zodiacs. They cannot get along with anyone and will face difficulty at work. Their public image will become tarnished and this will be a major disadvantage for those who are in politics, showbiz, business and doing sales. Gossips and troublemakers are aplenty making them difficult to concentrate on getting more important things done.

Breaking (damaging) Tai Sui - This affliction will result in Zodiac Dog’s life going haywire and behaving in a disorderly manner. Although it is the lightest affliction, it cannot be ignored by all means else it will magnified to become bad. The slightest mistake will bring financial losses. Therefore, be extra tactful and careful in the year.

An aggravating circumstances is when the afflicted persons (as mentioned above) has main door/bedroom door of his/her house/home/business place/office is facing Tai Sui direction (Southwest compass direction) or the Sui Po direction (Northeast compass direction).

2015 How to Boost Your Luck

As the New Year approaches, you may find yourself thinking over the past year and you may be counting your blessings or thinking about what you could have done differently.  Whatever the case, it's important to start the New Year off on a positive, hope-filled note.

The Chinese New Year is a time for gathering with the family to say goodbye to things that no longer serve us and welcome in a new, prosperous year.

Every new year, every person on earth has two opportunities to start anew - the Western New Year of January 1st and on the Chinese New Year. This will give all of us a chance to clean up and clear out our houses, get our goals and priorities in order, and make the most of our home or office.

Get rid of all the clutter and unnecessary things which get accumulated in the house from time to time. This will ensure that the vibrant energy of life will remain fresh and new in your home and surroundings. Make as much space as possible.  You cannot bring in new things if there is no room for it. Make your space "open" for the abundance of the New Year!Consider the "Money Tree". Then write your wishes for the coming New Year on the ribbons and then tie them to the branches. It should be understood that by writing down your goals and wishes that the greatest chance will occur that your wishes and dreams will come to fruition. Do this eve of the day before the New Year.

It is bad Feng Shui to have an empty refrigerator and pantry. Stock the refrigerator with foods and make sure the pantry is also stocked. Mandarin Oranges/Kiat kiat are excellent symbols for the New Year. Place a big bowl of oranges in the living room or central location in the house next to dishes of nuts or candies to symbolize an abundant, fruitful home.

Place a 8-rods Windchime in the Northwest corner of your home, office, or bedroom to bring good tidings from helpful people. Having helpful people can mean a few things. These people can come in the form of mentors, friends, customers, and hired help. You can also place a silver box with names of people you'd like to help you inside.

You don't want to go into the New Year with an empty wallet.  Put some money in your wallet -- or better yet -- go and buy a new wallet or purse and start your financial off with new energy!

Putting up "Door Guardians" on the front doors is to prevent entry of negative energies and allow positive energies into our home.

Welcome the New Year by lighting 9-wishes wishing candles, burn-burning 9 sticks of wishing incense and doing the wish-fullfilling paper ritual (compose of three separate wishing papers for fortune, health and harmony). Number 9 sounds like the Chinese word for longevity, near-coming or future luck and represents fulfillment or completion. This ritual is a symbolic way of letting go of mistakes and failures of the past and bringing a new start into one's life.

All feng shui items mentioned here are available for sale in our store.
